For many pet owners such as myself our pets are family members. We think about them when we make important decisions such as where we will live. I here people saying all the time that the house they were looking at was perfect but the yard was wrong for the dog or the street was too busy for their pets. When we were looking for our home our dog was of an advanced age so we could not look at two stories. We gave up so much space because we could only look at ranch style homes. We never regretted that decision because Cleo was so important to us. When our pets reach that advanced stage there are so many things that send you to the vets office. They are just like people as they age they begin to wear out a little. In their advanced age period it is a very cost effective time for insuring your pets. It is a good idea to keep your pets insured for all of the little things that come up in a pets life but when something big happens you will be reminded why you made that good decision to insure your pet! There are so many instances where people have to euthanize their pet because they can not afford the costly treatments the pet needs. If they were insured the decision could be much different. Let’s face it trip to the vet in this economic time can be even more costly to the family budget then ever. We love our pets and we all want the best for them and that is what leads many of us to giving them everything we can to make their lives the best they can be from nice collars to deluxe feeding bowls. With pet insurance we can also give them the best vet care!
