I got DIRECTV for my wedding gift but even though I’m already married I can’t stop watching wedding shows. I really love the David Tutera shows because he really makes people’s dreams come true and I know that at the end of the day my wedding was perfect the way it was. I was the first of all my friends to get married so I guess I still watch because I know I’ve got a lot more weddings in my future and I’m trying to get as many ideas as I can while I’m still young because I’m sure I’ll be doing this kind of planning for a while. I think it’s fun being part of a big day and I love all the ways people personalize their weddings these days but you know, at the end of the day I want to make sure everyone I know has the best day they’ve ever had. I think it’s great that people are putting so much into their weddings and making that day special for themselves!
If you have a hobby or a professional photography you know of the issues is carrying the camera. I found some old 35mm camera equipment and noticed that it is all so heavy carry around. Using the neck strap helps with the camera weight but over time your neck starts getting sore, this might be one of the reasons camera technology has making cameras lighter and being able to take higher definition pictures. Some of the new camera holsters are designed to eliminate problems by locking the camera in place. The holsters are setup to distribute the weight and lenses weight evenly around the torso with the idea to reduce neck and back injuries.
In the world of stem cells there is one stem cell that can actually self-renew and differentiate itself into bone and cartilage tissue. They are the mesenchymal stem cells. They are plastic adherent cells by definition which gives them a purpose like no other stem cell. The study of stem cells and the application of that knowledge is fascinating. We have come so far in medical science breakthroughs that the sky id the limit on where we will be in the future. What is amazing to me is the discoveries we make today are only the stepping stones into the laboratories of tomorrow. There are so many ideas in the world of life science that we have not even thought of yet. Who knows where the future will go through science. Where ever it goes I am sure we will still be using stem cells to advance it.
One of the ways stem cells play a role in medicines and science are through transplants. The CFC assay or the colony-forming cell assays are used in cell preparations for transplant patients. They measure the hematopoietic cells proliferative abilities and frequencies in cells before transplant surgery. Without this information transplants would not be as successful as they are today. These cells are gotten from a laboratory that has cultivated them for the purpose of using them in the medical fields. The cell assays must be of high quality for the best results which is why companies such as STEMCELL who provide the cells must operate under the strictest of quality control techniques.
There are many uses for stem cells in the labs today. Depending on what type of stem cell they are. The undifferentiated pluripotent stem cells can retain their normal karyotype and generate cells of three germ layers all while maintaining the ability for unlimited expansion. That is why they are used in clinical situations for drug screenings and toxicity. They are also used in the study of developmental and cellular biology because of their abilities. The embryonic stem cells differentiation is important to science because it helps to identify which cells would best work in which research. Having the right product for research is vital because research is looking for the true result and not one effected by product.
It is so interesting to read about what scientists are working on. It is encouraging to know that conditions such as cancer and other diseases are being so heavily researched that we may soon be seeing a cure for them. Can you imagine having a world that was free from such devastating conditions? No one I know has not been effected by cancer in some way or another. The cell line development that is being researched today could remove this condition from our current arsenal of conditions we are battling. All through our social existence we have been eradicating some type of diseases by finding cures and this point in time is no different. Fortunately the scientist of today are up for the task and are well on their way to completion for the cures we need.
We are in a very interesting place in time. This could easily be the time in history that such devastating diseases are cured through scientific development. The steps being taken by laboratories today with a stem cell culture are on the edge of making such discoveries. With the ability to do cell isolation coupled with the ability to remove the effected cells cures could be on the horizon to a host of conditions. Stem cells hold the key to so many scientific breakthroughs it will be interesting to see what happens next. The next big breakthrough in science could be coming at any time with the abilities we now have in our labs.
We read so many articles and hear so many news stories regarding how different labs are working on different breakthroughs by using stem cells. Did we ever stop to think where they are getting all of those stem cells? It is not a simple thing to acquire the stem cells labs need unless you know where to get them where they have been properly cared for. There is a process of care that keeps the integrity of the cell in good condition. Discoveries such as the ability for the process of the Isolation of B cells could not have been done with contaminated cells. The findings would not be reliable in many of the discoveries we are making today if we did not have a good source for stem cells. There is actually a stem cell laboratory that handles the stem cells used by the different labs. They are handled in a way that will have them ready for labs to get them in the condition they need them for research.
There are some amazing discoveries coming out of scientific laboratories today. The ability to perform cell separation is a huge breakthrough for medical science. Not only can the cells be identified but they can be separated. The advancement of this process opens the door for the cure for conditions such as cancer and many others that is spotted within the cells. With abilities such as the Isolation of T cells there is an enormous amount of diseases and conditions that could be cured in our near futures. Research by dedicated scientists is what is responsible for the health of our society today. We have to be one step ahead of the many conditions that effects humankind so we can continue to move forward.
